3003 aluminum pipe is an aluminum-manganese alloy product widely used across industrial sectors and often referred to as anti-rust aluminum pipe thanks to the addition of manganese. The alloy combines excellent formability, high corrosion resistance and superior weldability. It cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, but its mechanical properties can be tailored through cold working and a range of standard tempers (O, H12, H14, H16, H18 and beyond). Typical applications include fuel tanks, lubricating-oil conduits, liquid containers, shipbuilding components and pressure vessels that must meet fire-protection requirements. The pipe is supplied in a broad range of diameters and wall thicknesses, with custom lengths available on request.
