ASTM A53 seamless and welded carbon steel pipe is manufactured from high-quality steel billets through hot rolling and cold drawing. The pipes deliver exceptional strength, toughness and welding performance, making them well suited to petroleum, chemical, power generation and general machinery applications. A53 is widely specified for the conveyance of water, steam, air, gas and other fluids in commercial and industrial piping systems, and can also handle high-temperature and high-pressure oil and natural gas service. Both Type A and Type B are available in seamless, resistance-welded and furnace-welded forms, with optional value-added services including CNC machining, grinding, heat treatment, pickling and bending.
